Subject: Your Monthly Dose of News & Nosiness! - Newsletter February 2024

Hey ! - Wow where did these first 6 weeks go?,

 

It's that time again (well first time for 2024) —time for your monthly scoop on what's been happening in our neck of the woods! Grab your favourite brew or poison, , settle in, and let's catch up:


  1. Dizzy Co HQ Updates: We've been busy bees over here at Dizzy HQ! and lots of changes have happened. We opened on the 2nd January and its been a blast ever since, a new huge workshop table has been installed and already been put to use, with lampshade making, crochet, and calligraphy classes all with in the first 3 weeks! A new central table added, and 6 new artists and makers have come on board. Its already become apparent that l've run out of space so new shelving will be installed to replace the existing old white furniture... stay tuned on Facebook for those updates, new business cards ordered as l've run out, new signage has arrived for over the door, huge A frame board welcoming visitors, a drift wood stag at the entrance and yes, the bunting has gone up!- Phew  

  2. Community Spotlight: I'm hoping to team up with a local dementia organisation to offer places for carers and suffers to come, do art, paint, create and craft on a Tuesday morning. It will be free (donation requested to keep me in paint and paper) but- more on this next month !  

  3. Social Stuff: Did you know I have a Biz Facebook page and Instagram account? If you haven't already followed them here's the links: https://www.facebook.com/DizzyandCoDesigns https://www.instagram.com/dizzycodesigns You'll get to see what's happening and more as it happens! As well as the usual, (l don't do X, - twitter) but l have created a business page on nextdoor.co.uk and news can be seen there too as it happens, including new workshops and courses happening at Dizzy HQ. Could you help spread the word? I have in the shop, A5 laminated posters to promote workshops, the shop and website... if you have a community noticeboard - l would love you to put one up for me... why not pop in and get one?  

  4. Dizzy Dog, my trusty Westie and who l named the business after 7 years ago...celebrated her 14th birthday in January Happy Birthday !!!! - lots of cuddles, and sausages for tea. If you come in, say hello... she loves to greet people :  

  5. Workshops and Classes!: They are now happening... Have you seen what's on? check out the website www.dizzycodesigns.com and scroll onto the course you fancy, book and payment in one easy click.
